Gabriel Bánesz, Kristína Komárová, Miroslava Brathová
TVV 2025, 18(2)
The research focuses on the development and validation of a set of didactic tests for the subject of Technology at the primary school level, specifically in the thematic units "Technical Materials and Their Processing Procedures" and "Methods of Machine Material Processing." The aim was to create specification tables and verify the tests through a pilot project conducted with 7th and 9th grade students. The results demonstrated the reliability of the tests (reliability coefficients of 0.737 and 0.796) and an average student success rate above 69%. Differences were also observed between genders of pupils. The tests proved to be an effective tool...

JURIČEK Miroslav, CZ, KUDLÁČEK Štěpán, CZ, KLEMENT Milan, CZ
TVV 2025, 18(2)
The integration of 3D printing into the educational process provides an opportunity to develop computational thinking and cross-curricular links (STEM/STEAM). This concept enables, first of all, the understanding of modern digital devices, but also directs them to solve problems in the field of algorithmization and programming in a new way. One of these ways is the possibility of analyzing G-code, which is generated by a 3D printing program (called a slicer), with programming languages such as C or Python, as they share some common features. If the teacher does not want to directly incorporate the creation of custom g-code into...
