AB This study deals with an experiment as a specific method used within inquiry-based instruction. Using scientific methods, it focuses on an analysis of educational aspects in the context of constructivist approaches and copes with terminological issues from the respective area. It also deals with experiments carried out in virtual and remote labs and their possible didactic use. The presented findings were subjected to comparative analysis in an international context.
