AB This contribution deals with condensation heat transfer issue. It summarizes the theoretical information about pellicular and dropwise condensation in order to determine the thickness of condensate coating in a heat pipe. Consequently, the contribution gives an experimental method suggestion used for determination of thickness of condensate coating in the heat pipe. These information may be helpful in studying subject that are focused on heat and mass transfer.
