AB  - The contribution deals with a change of approach to the knowledge presentation and delivery in teaching informatics to tourism and hotel management pre-profesionals. It draws attention to the need of gaining new skills and expansion of information education in the field of portable applications. In the metodology of pre - profesionals´ preparation, an increased emphasis is put on the students´ independence and ability to adapt to their future professional environment more efficiently.
